Denyer’s commentary on unsettling times in Asia and around the world. A vision of protection, the Hindu Goddess Parvati, mother of the universe, is clad in armor; fortifying her gifts of love, power and renewal.

“From a garage sale in New Jersey, I bought some pieces of small-scale armor. The substantial look of the armor legs reminded me of the hefty legs of the 15th-16th c statute of the Hindu Goddess Parvati. I used two legs and some arm pieces of the armor to complete a standing figure of Parvati.” –BCD
